Connecting Canadian Pin Up’s and vintage lovers from coast to coast.

About V2

Canada’s Only Pin up Magazine

Pin ups of the frozen North…

Ok! so it’s not always snowy and frozen in Canada, just 9 months out of the year.

The idea of True North Pin Up Magazine was created in the blustery winter of 2018.

It all started because Keri was looking for somewhere to get her photos published, but finding nothing that was Canadian. Sure there is plenty of AMAZING magazines outside of Canada, but why not here? Then finding that there are groups of pinups all across Canada.

That created the headlong mission to create a 100% Canadian pin up publication.

The first and only Canadian Pin Up Magazine, and our sole mission is CONNECTION.

We believe in revolutionizing and connecting the Pin Up Community, and those living and loving the vintage life in Canada.

Connecting Pin Up’s and vintage lovers from coast to coast. Supporting local and featuring all Canadian Pin Up and Vintage related people, places, things and activities. We feature Canadian Pin Up’s, Retailers, Artisans, Photographers, Musicians, and Events.

Revolutionizing and empowering the entire community through body positivity, connection and authentic expression of self. From Canadian to Canadian.

Connection. Integrity. Empowerment. Local. Revolution.

We believe in supporting others and creating safe spaces.

We actively support Diversity and Inclusion, Women’s Rights, LQBTQIA+, Black Lives Matter, All Children Matter, MMIWGs, and the BIPOC Communities.

We respectfully acknowledge that True North Pin Up Magazine operates on lands that have been cared for by Indigenous peoples across what we now call Canada, from coast to coast to coast to coast. In Drumheller, Alberta, our home office is situated on Treaty 7 territory, the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy—including the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani Nations—the Tsuut’ina Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda Nation, which consists of the Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Wesley Nations. We also acknowledge the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, who have a long-standing connection to this land.

Across Canada, we recognize the diversity and contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples, who have stewarded these lands for generations. We honour their history, cultures, and knowledge and commit ourselves to working toward meaningful reconciliation, building connections rooted in respect, equity, and community.

We don’t believe in “vintage values” of division, separation and community oppression, we like the clothes and cars.
